A called meeting of the Abbott ISD Board of Trustees was held in special session Saturday,

October 20, 2007, beginning at 10:12 A.M. in the school cafeteria.

The following members were present: President Paul Miller, Vice President Ronda Ballew, Secretary Carole Moore, Tommy Blaha, Brett Cantrell, Holly Holland, and Ervin Middlebrook. Also in attendance was Superintendent Bill Tarleton.

The board met for a team building session and long term goal planning. Items discussed included:

Class sizes.

School calendars.

Bus routes.

Employee birthdays.

UIL schedule—Spring meet assignments.

Web-site postings required.

Superintendent Evaluation Form.

Board Operating Procedures.

Age & the flexible use of our fleet.

Working as a team and avoiding the five dysfunctions of a team.

Campus Improvement Plan.

The meeting adjourned at 12:40 P.M.
