Welding I

Students will be expected to come to class ready and willing to work. This is shop based class, and we will be in the shop about 90% of the time. All students will have to pass a shop safety test and score a 100 on the test before going into the shop. I will go over all Personal Protection Equipment and students are expected to follow all PPE Standards.  Students will also have an opportunity to receive an AWS Welding Certificate towards the end of the year.  If you have any questions about the certificate, please do not hesitate to ask. 

 

Grading
50% Daily and 50% Test

Most of the grades will come from the shop.
