A Message from our Principal

Greetings Abbott Family,
There are many things that define a man in this life. For me it’s simple: Faith and Family. I keep these things in mind as I maneuver through the day working with children. I am thrilled beyond measure that Abbott is now my extended family and if the welcome I have received thus far is any indication of the caliber of students from this community; then I know I am in the right place.

The Faith in the Lord was ingrained into me early on in my life by my parents. As I grew, my understanding of Faith and how it works has helped me overcome some of the most difficult times in my life. My story is no different than a lot of folks; I have endured many tragedies and celebrations along the way. Through thick and thin, I have learned to rely on my Faith in the Lord for guidance through life’s bumpy roads.

My Family is one of my greatest blessings in my life. My beautiful wife, Krystal, was my high school sweetheart. We defied the odds when we successfully dated through high school, married before college, graduated and remain happily married 17 years later! She is one of my greatest supporters and closest friends. She blessed me with twins in 2009, a boy and a girl. The Lord called my son, Kyle, home in 2014 after a brief battle with cancer. My daughter, Julie, will be entering the 2nd grade here in Abbott. She is tickled about meeting new friends, as we all are.

In short, I have been blessed more than what I deserve. The Lord reminds us through our children who really is in charge on a daily basis. I look forward to meeting each and every one of the families in this fabulous community. Every child has a story to tell, a contribution to make, and is worthy of our greatest effort.

Feel free to contact me anytime if I can be of assistance to you in any way.
