I am excited to start the 2026-27 school year! This is my 12th year as the counselor. I am looking forward to this school year and working with the students in many aspects.
I grew up in West Texas in the small community of Klondike. I graduated from Tarleton State University in 2000 and began working at Abbott as a teacher and coach. I am starting my 27th year in education, which is also my 27th year at Abbott. My husband, Eric, is starting his 9th year as the Superintendent of Abbott School. Eric and I have two children, Brayden and Kadence. Brayden will be a senior at the University of North Texas, and Kadence will be a freshman attending McLennan Community College.
