English II

 Welcome to your back to high school English!  We have an exciting year planned full of reading some classic literature and expanding our writing skills!  Throughout the year, we will be exploring different types of literature -- from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar to Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 to Elie Wiesel's autobiographical novel Night! We will also be experimenting with different writing techniques and styles, with an explicit focus on persuasive writing.  

 

Please note that major exam/project dates will be posted here and on Google Classroom.  Students also receive handouts with specific dates as well as verbal reminders and dates written on the board/calendar located in classroom.
