English I

 Welcome to your first year of high school English!  We have an exciting year planned full of reading some classic literature and expanding our writing skills!  Throughout the year, we will be exploring different types of literature -- from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451! We will also be experimenting with different writing techniques and styles, with an explicit focus on expository writing.  

 

Please note that major exam/project dates will be posted here and on Google Classroom.  Students also receive handouts with specific dates as well as verbal reminders and dates written on the board/calendar located in classroom.
