Course Description
Welcome to your back to high school English! We have an exciting year planned full of reading some classic literature and expanding our writing skills! Throughout the year, we will be exploring different types of literature -- from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar to George Orwell's Animal Farm to Elie Wiesel's autobiographical novel Night! We will also be experimenting with different writing techniques and styles, with an explicit focus on persuasive writing.
Students also receive handouts with specific dates as well as verbal reminders and dates written on the board/calendar located in classroom. It is highly recommended that students create an organizational plan that helps them stay on top of due dates!
