Course Description
Throughout our study of British Literature, we will be exploring everything from medieval culture/writings (such as Beowulf) to 19th and 20th century plays and novels (specifically Mary Shelley's Frankenstein). We will also continue developing our analytical writing skills through deeper questioning of given texts. We will also have opportunities to work on scholarship and professional writing tasks.
Students also receive handouts with specific dates as well as verbal reminders and dates written on the board/calendar located in classroom. It is highly recommended that students create an organizational plan to help them stay on top of due dates!
Please note on grading policy -- late work policy is strictly enforced! Most written assignments are turned in via email -- I use the time stamp in regards to due dates and times.
