Coach Scheler

Hello, this will be my 6th year teaching History and Government at Abbott. I am a 1994 graduate of Abbott ISD and have lived here all of my life. I graduated from Baylor University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Business degree. I received my Alternative Certification from McLennan Community College in 2015. Along with teaching I am the head boys basketball coach, head golf coach, assistant football and assistant baseball coach. I also enjoy High School UIL academics where our Social Studies and Current Events teams both won district from 2021 through 2024 with Regional 2nd Runners Up in 2024.

 

My conference period is 7th period from 1:51 to 2:38 pm. Students who need tutorials can schedule a time during break in the morning. I appreciate all of the support from parents both academically and athletically.
