Coach Scheler

Hello, this will be my 5th year teaching History and Government at Abbott. I am a 1994 graduate of Abbott ISD and have lived here all of my life. I graduated from Baylor University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Business degree. I received my Alternative Certification from McLennan Community College in 2015. Along with teaching I am the head boys basketball coach, head golf coach, assistant football and assistant baseball coach. I also enjoy High School UIL academics where our Social Studies and Current Events teams both won district from 2021 through 2023.  

 

My conference period is 7th period from 1:50 to 2:40. Students who need tutorials can schedule a time during break in the morning. I appreciate all of the support from parents both academically and athletically.
